The country of Ak'le'dama get’s it’s name from its Ak'le'dama monarchy which leads it. Currently there are king Paule, a queen Paula, the eldest sister, Agustistene, twin brothers, and fraternal twins that are a boy, Perrie and a girl, Francoi, and another baby girl, Madeline. They also have extended family but let's got get into that.
The country is in a slight boomerang shape. The left side of the boomerang is made mostly of a mountain range, where the right angle hits, it's a forest, and at the very top of the boomerang there is another mountain that seems to break off into the ocean. On and in between those islands is famous for the amount of hybrid fish humans and amphibian human hybrids that live there.
The county started as a kingdom in the mountains that started to stretch out its territory to flex its power and it’s need for food. It gained farmland in the forest, orchards, long before the elephant wars. But recently gained the islands through the elephant wars and are facing resistance from its people.
They see the ‘people of the water’ as barbaric, when in reality they had their own government, culture, way of life. The people of Ak'le'dama are trying to ‘culture’ by changing the schooling and uniforms of the children and forcing a dress code on those who leave the water. There are resistance groups on farther off islands that don’t follow the rules. If the guards of Ak'le'dama find out about the ‘lost’ islands, things might escalate to mandatory boarding schools for the children.
The mountain range has a well kept, germanic style castle made of stone and cement arranged in a valley. A vast city sprawls around it. The homes and other buildings are made of chopped trees and evenly cut stones mixed together in square architecture with triangular roofs.
In the forest people’s homes look a lot like early american settlers homesteads. There is a more diverse kind of selection of animals that work for the humans and hybrids there. The favored one of them all is the domesticated badger who finds wild honey for them.
The ‘people of the water’ live in coral reefs, palm huts, giant seashells with palm frond doors.
The style of clothing of the people of Ak'le'dama are like those of 19th century england. Big pompous, victorian age dresses for the rich women. The skinnier the dress for the poorer, or sluttier you are. It’s common for lower-class women to crossdress when climbing the mountains. Upperclass men wear the usual attire for 19th century attire with the top hats and such. The lower-class men trade their top hats for hard hats in the mountains.
