Name: Experiment 42 (Johnny)
Age: 16
Masculine
Home country: Blackswallows
Hybrid: Cockroach
(+1 modifier to both ability to take a hit and perception because of this)
Social Class: Very low class
Do they carry a weapon: Sort of
What kind: Insectoid Mandibles and sharp protrusions on his graspers
Where did they get it: Born with it
Why do they carry it: Part of his biology
How long have they been in Flourishwick the country: A few weeks
Why are they in Flourishwick: Washed up on shore
Bio: Experiment 42 (Johnny) is considered a failed experiment by the lifeweavers of the Blackswallow archipelago. The group that engineered him were attempting to make a form of soldier that would be extremely durable and possess a high level of strength. While Johnny does have the durability they were looking for he lacks both the enhanced strength that they were attempting to engineer and the ability to communicate linguistically. This lack of linguistic communication caused him to be believed to be of subhuman intelligence and, as a result, he has been used as a beast of burden for most of his life. Eventually he was able to steal a small boat and leave the Blackswallow archipelago behind
Description: He appears more insectoid than human, though he does stand on his backmost set of legs in humanoid fashion. His thorax/torso has six limbs coming from it with the front two sets of limbs serving as arms with three digited graspers at the end of them (essentially two fingers and a thumb) and the backmost pair of limbs being his legs. He does technically have wings and, while they are not strong enough to fly, he can use them to turn a fall into a controlled descent. He rarely wears clothing as his outer shell serves as both protection and concealment of his tender bits. As best as he is able he maintains a high level of polish on his shell. Like most cockroaches, he is truly omnivorous, though he does prefer proper human food when he can get it. All in all, think hopper from A Bugs Life but with compound eyes and cockroach mandibles.
Note: he is intelligent enough to read and write, he just has not learned to do so.
